Update...

I just wanted to let you know that I have not forgotten my promise to put up my 1st tutorial on making melt proof Popsicle.  I was almost ready to put it up when one of my dear daughters pulled on my laptop cord and broke the dongle.  I have ordered a replacement but it will probably be 2 weeks so until I receive the cable I will not be able to retrieve the pictures I need to finish the tutorial.  In the mean time I will try and post some pictures and descriptions of crafty things I have been making on the last few weeks.

It has been a while since I have posted anything new  that does not mean I have not been Crafty  but rather just busy with life.  As the new school year  is started I find myself making resolutions  to organize my family and be more crafty and decided it was time to bring back the blog to keep myself accountable for my crafty plans .To that end I have a new series in the works and I am hoping to have the 1st post up next weekend so stay tuned for exciting things soon. -Erin

Reusable Cotton Mak-Uup Pads...Tutorial

Make Your Own Cotton Make-Up Removal Pads A Tutorial I have been a a de stashing kick lately and one of the things I have a lot of bits of is cotton yarn.  I recently renovated my Master bathroom and as a result I have been trying to de clutter and one thing I figured I could get ride of is the cotton pads and balls from under the sink (by using them) and replace them with a single set of reusable cotton pads that will a small jar on my counter and in doing so also save me some money by  keeping me form buying more single use cotton pads in the future.  As I was making my little circles I took some photos to share the process with you. Repurpose Fabric for my Daughters room

This past week was a week for re-purposing  some fabric to add some touches to her room. earlier in the week she asked me for a garbage can.. and while I had a few plain white ones kicking around that was just not going to do for her room so following the instructions to make the  Crayon Holder  I made last week, I covered an old garbage can that was not being used with a receiving blanket that was also no longer being used.  then to help her keep the bag in her garbage and add a little decoration I made a band  That I had seen earlier in the week, the flower is the same one I make for the flower hats  earlier this year. DD's Trash can for her used Tissues! she quickly filled it by pretending to blow her nose! lol!
